EASE OF INSTALLATION
ScourStop can be delivered and installed with one man and a standard pickup. A driver, utility knife, and pliers are the only tools required for the actual installation. A skid loader or box-blade, shovel, and rake can typically prepare the soil and finish-grade each location.
A complete installation guide and installer checklist are available on this website. Additionally, we provide an installation video on a DVD, and in segments on this site. Every installation company should have a manager well-versed in proper installation of ScourStop mats. Scour is a significant force and poor installations will generally have to be redone – maybe after just one rain event.
Additionally, the manager should have a clear understanding of the design manual to know when NOT to use ScourStop mats, and to discuss alternatives with the site designer.
